The Office of Gender Violence Prevention and Health Education

The Office of Gender Violence Prevention and Health Education works to promote health and prevent harm in the Bowdoin campus community.

The office coordinates campus-wide education, trainings, programs, and events related to sexual and relationship abuse/violence, consent, bystander intervention, and healthy relationships. The office also provides support and leadership to peer health, trainings on substance use and abuse, and efforts on health, wellness, and decision-making of self and community.

It's up to all of us to prevent sexual and dating violence at Bowdoin. Learn more about consent, sexual violence, and relationship violence—and find ways to get involved through education, leadership, events and programming that empowers our community to take care of ourselves and each other.
