The Office of Events and Summer Programs (OESP) plans and executes Bowdoin College's institutional events, manages external events, and oversees space scheduling for the campus community and its guests. As a leading resource in event planning, we also provide guidance in best practices, offering logistical and design support to ensure successful, inclusive, and welcoming events. Our work aims to strengthen and engage the community while contributing to the common good.

- External events and conferences
- Student summer housing
- Part-time and student staff supervision
- Bowdoin Summer Art Camp
Mackenzie O'Connor
Associate Director of Events and Summer Programs
Responsibilities:
- Day to day departmental management and support
- Institutional event planning: Convocation, Honor and Award Ceremonies, Family Weekend, and Commencement
- Strategic planning support for student focused large scale events
