This summer, I had the privilege of interning with The Citizens Foundation (TCF), a non-profit organization dedicated to making education accessible to marginalized communities in Pakistan. TCF is committed to providing quality education and runs over 1,600 schools across the country.

During my time at TCF, I contributed to the planning of the Rahbar program, a mentorship initiative aimed at guiding high school students. I also had the opportunity to visit several schools, where I listened to the stories of many children. These experiences deeply resonated with me, and I took photographs that will be used in a documentary by the organization. Additionally, I managed the social media page for outreach, which was instrumental in expanding TCF's online presence.

This internship was a valuable learning experience that gave me insight into the inner workings of non-profits and how various departments collaborate to achieve a common goal. It also helped me develop new skills, particularly in project planning and social media management, which I will carry forward in my career. My favorite part of the internship was undoubtedly the school visits, where I witnessed firsthand the impact of TCF's work on children's lives.
