Brunswick Pride Festival
Saturday, June 10th from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET
Brunswick is showing its colors at the second annual Pride Festival! Join LGBTIQA+ supporting organizations in the greater Brunswick area as well as across Maine on Saturday, June 10th, from 12-5pm. Visit the Bowdoin table on the town mall to pick up some swag, share some sunshine in a quick interactive activity, and say hello to students and staff. No registration required.
Portland Pride Parade
Saturday, June 17th at 1:00 p.m. ET
All members of the Bowdoin community and their guests are invited to walk behind Bowdoin's banner in the 2023 Portland Pride Parade! The parade steps off at 1:00pm, but please plan to lineup at Bowdoin's group staging location at Preble Street (the side that intersects Cumberland Avenue) by 12:15pm. The parade starts at Monument Square in Portland, ME and wraps up at the Pride Festival in Deering Oaks Park. Bowdoin Pride swag will be distributed at the parade lineup, including custom Bowdoin Pride tank tops.

LGBTIQA+ Celebrations at Reunion 2023
Thursday, June 1st—Sunday, June 4th
We look forward to welcoming 3s and 8s alumni back to Bowdoin for Reunion Weekend. There will be several opportunities to gather and celebrate LGBTIQA+ inclusion on campus, including a Friday evening campus-wide performance by Curbside Queens, Maine’s #1 traveling drag show. Pronoun pins will be available and mementos from the 2013 and 2018 Out Senior Dinner will be on display at this event. We’ve also added an inclusivity flag in the Reunion Welcome Center. Staff from the Office of Alumni Relations and Sexuality, Women, and Gender Center (SWAG) hope to see you there!
