Workday Faculty Tours

By mid-April, campuses like Bowdoin are abuzz with the promise of warming days and the energy of impending graduations. To harness some of that positive energy, the Workday Student Project Team gathered once again on the Bowdoin campus to give faculty and ADCs a preview of what some Workday functionality would look and act like. This gave the Bowdoin team a chance to get some early feedback on decisions that had been made and choices that were yet to be made, as well as learn more about how to best introduce some of these changes to campus.

Cognizant consultant and Bowdoin Student architect Ethan Powell led the tours, projecting a live demonstration environment to gathered crowds, answering questions and showing information in real-time. Attendance at all four tours was excellent and a lot of great questions were asked, observations were made, and knowledge was gleaned!
