Advanced Compensation Goes Live!

Months of planning and hard work by the team in Human Resources is paying off this week as brand new Advanced Compensation functionality hits the inboxes of managers across the college! As supervisors prepare to propose salary increases for their teams, they are doing so using Workday for the first time using a process called Advanced Compensation. 

Advanced Compensation is a review event in Workday that allows supervisors to review their team's current position and salary information and recommend any proposed increases up to the next level of budget manager. Ultimately, budget leaders at the college will be able to review these proposals and how they fit into the overall budget of the college. From there, salary increases can move over into payroll and be added to an employee's check at the next pay cycle. 

This change represents a giant leap in expediency and transparency in the compensation review and proposal process. HR staff and managers across the college will be able to access staff salary data quickly and easily, and budget managers will be able to plan for and roll out changes in a much more streamlined and comprehensive fashion.
