Registration and Housing Information

Bowdoin strives to make participation in Reunion as affordable as possible, and the College substantially subsidizes the cost of Reunion Weekend. Plus, kids are free! Reunion registration packages are all-inclusive—no additional fees are charged for participation in Reunion events or activities once arriving on campus. Packages include all meals, beverages, and activities as outlined within each package. Fees are subject to State of Maine sales tax.

By registering, all individuals agree to abide by Bowdoin College’s standards of conduct and that the College may take photos and video of them during Reunion events and may publish them in any format or media without additional permission.

On-Campus Housing

On-campus housing is open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights of Reunion and available according to registration package. This year, housing is extremely limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. All individuals must be registered for Reunion Weekend for housing assignments to be made.

Accommodations in all facilities include twin beds and very minimal furnishings. Each attendee registered for on-campus housing will be provided with a set of sheets and towels, a blanket, and a pillow. Attendees are encouraged to bring additional pillows, blankets, or other amenities such as coat hangers, alarm clocks, etc. There are no private bathrooms. The College makes every effort to house classmates and guests of a given Reunion class in the same building.

Off-Campus Accommodations

Since housing is extremely limited this year, we encourage considering off-campus accommodations. Visit the Reunion local lodging page which lists hotels conveniently located to Bowdoin and many have offered special Bowdoin Reunion rates.

If cancellation of a Reunion reservation or on-campus room is necessary, individuals will be reimbursed in full only for cancellations made prior to Thursday, May 19. Due to planning commitments we make with off-campus vendors and other partners, we regret that we cannot offer refunds for cancellations received after this date.

Bowdoin is committed to making all of its resources available to each one of its community members. While not all areas of campus are fully accessible, we are committed to helping identify and eliminate barriers—including disabilities, impairments, health conditions, or other access needs—so you can enjoy your time back on campus. Please note your special needs on your registration form or contact the Office of Alumni Relations at or 207-725-3266.
