Mike Albano

Mike joined the Bowdoin Student Aid Office in August 2020. He became interested in pursuing a career in financial aid when he was a work-study student in the financial aid office at Western New England University. Mike has received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Western New England University, Master of Education from Springfield College, and Doctor of Education at Northeastern University. Mike has over fifteen years of professional student aid experience at schools that include Amherst College, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Bay Path University, Wesleyan University, and most recently Vassar College.

Mike is originally from Western Massachusetts and is thrilled to be back in New England, which has always been “home” to him. In his spare time Mike is an avid fan of theatre, tennis, cooking and baking, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
