Education

I graduated Middlebury College with a joint major in Women Studies (now Gender, Sexuality, & Feminist Studies) and History, and a minor in Philosophy. I have a law degree from the University of Maine School of Law. I held two clerkships after law school, including one with the Honorable John A. Woodcock, Jr. (Bowdoin ’72) of the Federal District Court of Maine. I am also a trained mediator with a passion for restorative justice and conflict resolution.

Background

After Middlebury, I left snowy New England for snowy Colorado. I attempted to be a ski bum for a few years before returning to sea level for law school. I practiced employment law for a decade before joining Bowdoin’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations where I worked on alumni issues concerning diversity, equity, and inclusion, among other projects. I live outside of Portland with my family.
