Jo Hluska

Jo Hluska, Assistant Preparator at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art, graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1992 with a major in ceramics and a minor in metal-smithing. He has worked in bronze foundries (1994-1995) and was ceramics studio manager at Hunter College in New York City (1997-2000). He served as a professional art handler at Artex from 1998-2005. While with Artex he assisted with the movement of the Bowdoin College Museum of Art collection in 2005. From 2005-2008 Hluska was at the Farnsworth as Chief Preparator. In 2008, Hluska joined the staff of the Bowdoin College Museum of Art as Assistant Preparator. He continues to work as a professional artist.
