Assistant Professor of Psychology

I am a licensed clinical psychologist focusing on the anxiety and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders.  I am motivated by a desire to lessen the suffering of individuals struggling with these disorders.  As such, my work has focused on: 1) identifying the cognitive and emotional processes that contribute to the development and maintenance of these disorders, 2) developing and testing targeted, novel interventions (e.g., mindfulness-based interventions, computer-based interventions designed to modify cognitive biases, pharmacological adjuncts to therapy), and 3) advancing the dissemination of evidence-based treatments to providers and the general public.
