Houlton & Presque Isle Communities

Learn about the history and economy of Houlton and Presque Isle, two neighboring communities in Maine’s northernmost county.

Students will engage with the Houlton and Presque Isle communities through opportunities such as assisting the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum, visiting Micmac Farms, and working with MSAD #1 School Farm. Students may also enjoy trying ice cream from the famed Houlton Farms Dairy and hiking and swimming at the North Maine Woods. Note: Students will be sleeping indoors and have access to showers.
