OneCard Services

Student OneCards are used across campus for building access, meal plans, purchases, and more.
OneCards are used for:
  • Photo ID for all campus events requiring identification
  • OneCard account: purchases on and off campus (select retailers)
  • Meal plans and Polar Points
  • Dorm access and room key
  • Building, classroom, and lab access
  • Printing
  • Library card
  • Fitness Center access

Online Deposits

Online deposits can be made via eCheck or Debit/Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express). Students with Bursar's office "Authorized Payer" accounts and guests can add funds to their OneCard Accounts online using the link at the top of this page. The minimum online deposit is $25.

Students and authorized payers should click on the deposit link and log in with their account credentials. Authorized payers, please note that you'll need to click 'Authorized Payer' to get to your login screen.

Guest payers can make deposits without login credentials. To make a deposit as a guest, you will need to know the student's first name, last name, and Bowdoin ID number.

Cash and Checks

Cash can be deposited at the automated cash deposit machine (CSVT) located in the basement of Hawthorne-Longfellow Library. The CSVT accepts US $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills. Students can also deposit cash in person at the OneCard office during business hours. We accept all US bills and coins. There is no minimum for cash deposits. 

The OneCard office can also take deposits via check. Checks should be made payable to Bowdoin College, and can be dropped off in person or mailed to Bowdoin College, OneCard Office, 6075 College Station, Brunswick ME 04011-8451. Please specify the student's name and ID number on all mailed checks so that we credit the correct student account. As with cash, there is no minimum for check deposits.
