‘Merrymeeting Bay: The Rising Tide of Stewardship’ to Air on MPBN

Merrymeeting Bay: The Rising Tide of Stewardship, a program exploring the stewardship of the bay through the work of scientists, artists and students, airs Saturday, April 9, at 11 a.m. and is to be rebroadcast at 10 p.m. Thursday, April 14, on the stations of the Maine Public Broadcasting Network. The program, produced by Mark Ireland and underwritten by the College, includes interviews with Harrison King McCann Research Professor of the English Language Emeritus Franklin Burroughs and Samuel S. Butcher Associate Professor in the Natural Sciences John Lichter.
