Meetings Dates and Submission Deadlines

Full Committee Review Deadlines

Protocols that require full committee review must be submitted three weeks in advance of the scheduled IRB meeting to be eligible for review. This allows adequate time for the committee to conduct a proper review. Protocols submitted in less time may not be reviewed until the next scheduled meeting.

Expedited and Exempt Protocol Review

The IRB reviews expedited and exempt protocols on a rolling basis. These protocols do not have to be submitted by the deadline but the PI should still build time into their research plan for the IRB to properly review as it is routine for the IRB to return your application for revisions at least once during the review process.
