Thomas Baumgarte (Physics and Astronomy) was a awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation for his project titled RUI: Studies in Numerical Relativity (NSF Award No. 2605218).
Manuel Diaz-Rios (Neuroscience/Biology) was awarded a Fulbright-University of St Andrews Distinguished Scholar Award for his work on how environmental stressors such as temperature and plastic pollution affect the nervous system of mammals, with a focus on cellular and molecular changes in neuron function.
