Great Schools Partnership is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit school-support organization working to redesign public education and improve learning for all students. Their mission is to support, challenge, and collaborate with educators and communities to achieve educational excellence and equity.

Over the summer, I undertook a diverse range of projects, including but not limited to developing an annual impact report, establishing a resource library, supporting various data projects for schools and coaches, and researching potential funders for the School Redesign in Action Conference. I also had the opportunity to travel to a school in Maine to provide onsite coaching and support educators in our PLG Facilitator Training session.

This summer experience has solidified my belief in the power of nonprofits to drive positive change. The various tasks I completed daily and the chance to create a more equitable and inclusive educational landscape left me feeling both challenged and empowered. I honed my data storytelling skills, added qualitative coding to my tool belt, and developed a wide range of resources to optimize contract days for partners.
