I spent this summer as a Finance, Legal, and Admin intern at STW Technic, LP in Norcross Georgia. STW makes remote solutions for off highway machines- sensors, telematics, and controllers, to name a few. During my time there, I focused primarily on export control consulting – ensuring that a growing business model intent on looking internationally complied with existing legislation and guidance. I also did a deep dive into company specific documents and procedures to implement a new ERP system.

While at STW, I learned the importance of good consulting – focusing on maintaining a balance between meeting the day-to-day procedure while also remaining focused on the end goal. I also gained experience with ERP systems and accounting basics. My favorite part of the internship was the spirit of collaboration, and the receptiveness of higher-ups to my ideas.

Internship funded by the Scott and Anne Perper Internship Fund.
