Advancing Health Through Genetic Testing

This summer I worked as the Payer Markets and Enterprise Marketing Intern with Myriad Genetics.​

Myriad Genetics is a genetic testing and precision medicine company with a mission to advance health and wellbeing for all and empower every individual by revealing the answers inside each of us.​ The projects I worked on included affordability messaging, credentialing efforts for the new laboratory location, updating and editing the executive summaries for the tests, and payer outreach letters.

This experienced reaffirmed my interest in a career in medicine, and I will continue to explore careers in healthcare. Throughout the summer, I was constantly multitasking. Working on many tasks at the same time required me to strengthen my organization and communication skills. My favorite part about my position was collaborating with teams and individuals across the company throughout the various projects. Each utilized different skills and centered around Myriad’s company values.
