Branch Manager
By Tim Cronin ‘24This summer I was able to do an internship with ViewCrew Window Services. ViewCrew is a professional window cleaning and film installation business based out of North Andover MA. I chose this internship as it was an opportunity to advance my business skills.
As a person that wishes to get into the entrepreneurial world, this internship was a perfect way of sharpening my skills. Running a small business requires the owner to hold many roles within the company. A wide range of knowledge is needed to perform efficiently within these roles, including understanding budget plans, ordering/maintaining equipment, marketing, time management, customer satisfaction etc. I was able to successfully gain knowledge of these tasks by quoting houses, managing wages, social media marketing, physical advertising, communication with customers and more everyday tasks.
The major projects I worked on mostly consisted of finding people interested in our service, giving and selling a quote then making sure the team of window washers I have are able to do the job effectively well giving the customer full satisfaction. By doing this all summer, I learned how to be a good salesman and earn the trust of the customer to handle their home. My favorite part about the internship was getting outstanding reviews on my crews and my own performance. It felt good to bring a helpful service to my community
