This Summer, I worked as a K-12 Intern at The Century Foundation (TCF) in our nation’s capital of Washington DC.

TCF is a progressive, independent think tank that conducts research, develops solutions, and drives policy change to make people’s lives better. The organization pursues economic, racial, and gender equity in education, health care, and work, and promote U.S. foreign policy that fosters international cooperation, peace, and security.

At TCF, the research of my team focused on the equitable expansion of dual-language immersion schools in the United States. I wrote commentary, networked with experts in education policy, and managed a growing database of schools that offer dual-language immersion programming.

Led by Conor Williams ’05, I am grateful for such an informative and exciting internship opportunity this summer.
