Neoplux Investment Company Analyst Intern
By Andrew Yang '21Learning about different business models and various market trends.

Neoplux Investment Company is a subsidiary of the Doosan Group, one of the biggest conglomerates in South Korea. It has both a venture capital arm and a private equity arm.
Interning at Neoplux was a great opportunity to work on deals, which were the highlight of my experience. I performed due diligence on multiple startups, and out of those, we invested in the series B round of a company called Grip, which is a live commerce platform that really took off thanks to COVID-19 and the emergence of “untact” business models.
I also learned about different business models and various market trends.
Near the end of my internship, I prepared a report on VC investments in India, where Neoplux was one of the first Korean VC funds to invest in. The report was presented to one of our fund’s biggest limited partners.
