Biochemistry Seminars (Spring 2023)

Note that these are elective biochemistry seminars offered as part of the biology and chemistry seminar series. Meet with your advisor to identify which seminars they expect you to attend.

 

Biochemistry Honors Assignments and Due Dates (22-23)

 

September 13: Submit project title to Ben Gorske & Sylvia Bosco

October 21: If applicable, present research poster at the President's Research Symposium (check with advisor)

November 18: Submit fall draft of paper to advisor

December 5: Submit midyear report to advisors and readers, including a 10-page introduction, data gathered this semester, and an in-depth analysis of that data

December 12: Oral presentation (10-12 minutes) to the biochemistry program

March 30:  Group discussion of paper by seminar speaker Pam Chang

April 21: Submit thesis draft to advisor

May 1: Submit final thesis to readers

May 12*: Present at poster session

May 18: Submit formatted thesis to library by 5pm
