Download the checklist to track your progress through the Art History major/minor or ARTH/VART and ARTH/ARCH interdisciplinary majors. Students interested in majoring or minoring in Art History should use this checklist when meeting with their advisors and choosing courses.
Major-Minor Requirements
Major/Minor Policies:
- A student must earn a grade of C- to fulfill the major or minor requirement in art history.
- A double major must complete the requirements of both major departments.
- 3000-level seminars must be taken at Bowdoin.
- Only one art history course may be double-counted towards a Visual Arts major/Art History minor.
