In 1954, Donald B. MacMillan made his final trip to the Arctic aboard the schooner Bowdoin. Rutherford Platt was the botanist and photographer on the expedition. Platt’s family recently discovered over 250 stunning black and white negatives Platt took documenting this voyage. This exhibit highlights a selection of the photographs, most seen for the first time.
