BCBAA Celebrates Black History Month at Gospel Brunch

By Bowdoin News

Members of the Bowdoin College Black Alumni Association (BCBAA) celebrated Black History Month at Red Rooster Harlem, which is known for its Sunday Gospel Brunch.

A standout feature, the restaurant’s brunch is a fifteen-year collaboration with the Mama Foundation for the Arts. The weekly event, celebrating culture, music, and history, showcases the voices of the Sing Harlem choir, a group of young artists nurtured by the foundation.

Red Rooster Harlem’s menu is a blend of American comfort food and African American cuisine that reflects the flavors and traditions of Harlem.
