Student Employment Project Launches

You already know about all the ways that you manage HR information using Workday - benefits and open enrollment W2s, performance check-ins, salary increases, and payroll. Now, for student employee managers, you'll be able to manage your student employment information using Workday as well! This huge step forward for streamlining all HR data into one system was made possible through the tremendous efforts of Meredith Fischer and Story Higgins in HR, working alongside our Alchemy partner Kit.

All student employment information transitioned from JobX to Workday in early April 2023. This means student managers will use Workday to post jobs and review candidates, and students will use Workday to look for and apply to positions! 

Student Employment has created a page all about resources for posting jobs, hiring, time tracking, and approving time in Workday, this page on Student Hiring for managers, as well as a page that is just for student employees.

KUDOS to Meredith and Story for their long hours and hard work on moving Student Employment into Workday! The future looks bright!
