Kendra began her career in higher education as a work-study student in the financial aid office at the University of New England while she was pursuing her bachelor’s degree in marine biology. She continued her studies at NSU’s Oceanographic Center in FL earning her M.S. in Marine Biology while continuing to work in many positions within their Enrollment and Student Services office.
Upon graduation, Maine called her back and she began to work at UNE in a professional capacity becoming more involved in the systems and data aspects of student aid. With her enthusiasm for data and systems, she joined the Bowdoin College Student Aid Office in 2015.
Kendra is originally from the southern tier of New York but calls Maine her forever home. Outside of data and systems, Kendra enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog enjoying everything that Maine has to offer.
