Sophaktra Heng

Sophaktra assists with the management of the Bowdoin website, is responsible for content management system training for all editors, and provides support to the editor community.

Sophaktra joins Bowdoin from Maine Community College System institution, York County Community College, where she worked in student-facing roles in Admissions, Advising, Registrar, and Workforce Development. In her role she also assisted with digital technology and creating marketing collateral. Sophaktra has a bachelor’s degree in media studies with a concentration in media writing from the University of Southern Maine and a master’s degree in higher education student affairs from Merrimack College. 

In her down time, Sophaktra enjoys running, going to live shows and concerts, binging tv, pop culture trivia, and  watching the New England Patriots.
