Interim Assistant Director of Residential Life & First-Year Experience

Professional Duties:

Supporting first-year students as they transition to and build community at Bowdoin, while working alongside ResLife student staff and College House leaders to foster welcoming, inclusive, and connected residential communities.
Providing programming and community-building support for first-year students and collaborating with colleagues to help students navigate their Bowdoin experience.

Hometown:

Chappaqua, New York

Education:

I received my BS from the College of Charleston, where I majored in Cultural Anthropology and minored in Geology and Environmental Studies. I later earned a Master’s degree in Outdoor Education from the University of Edinburgh.

Background:

My career thus far has centered around experiential education, relationship-building, and learning through community and place. After years of leading wilderness and cultural exchange programs, working with schools, teaching skiing, and supporting youth mental health and nature connection, I’m thrilled to bring that passion to Bowdoin. I’m especially excited to support and learn from first-year students and finally put down roots in Maine.

I live in Portland and love to explore the city and the beautiful spaces beyond it.
