Lisa Noble

Senior Associate Director, Advisor for Finance and Consulting, Career Exploration and Development

Lisa advises students who are considering careers in finance and consulting or are simply curious about the world of business.

Lisa spent most of her career in New York, helping Fortune 500 companies in tech, financial services, healthcare, consumer goods, retail, and fashion innovate and grow. She ran global market research programs at IBM, Bayer Healthcare, Pepsi and Prudential.  Lisa also led quantitative insights teams at Kantar, a leading brand strategy consultancy, helping their clients predict and fill customer needs and use design thinking to improve shoppers’ digital and in-store experience.

She then created her own career advisory practice, with a focus on liberal arts students and graduates to prepare them for the future of work. Prior to Bowdoin, she was part of the career development team at Colby College, where she built and scaled a finance and consulting advising practice and recruiting program, as well as Colby’s first formal entrepreneurship program.

Lisa holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia and Master of Science in Innovation from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business, which has inspired a number of projects aimed at making career education more accessible, fun and easy to fold into students’ busy lives.

In her spare time, Lisa pursues outdoor and retail adventures, making heaps of matzo ball soup for friends and family and generally celebrating culture through cooking and entertaining.
