Kate Nicholson
Assistant Director of Student Wellness Programs and Coordinator of Wellness Outreach
Kate received her BA from Haverford College in Spanish and Education studies. She went on to serve in the U.S. Peace Corps Madagascar as well as live abroad in Barcelona, Spain and Costa Rica. Kate taught upper school at Cape Cod Academy before moving her family back to her home state of Maine. She spent more than a decade exploring the world of healing arts and mindfulness working as a massage therapist, reiki practitioner and yoga teacher. Kate ran a successful private massage & bodywork practice serving women's health in Brunswick for nine years. She is enthusiastic about translating her experience and expertise here to Bowdoin College. Kate lives in Bath with her husband and 2 daughters, Zoe & Phoebe.
