Adriana Swancy

Counseling Psychologist - Pre-Licensed (University of Iowa)

Adriana (she/her) received her PhD in Counseling Psychology from The University of Iowa; MA in Counseling/Student Personnel from San Jose State University; BA in English/Creative Writing from Humboldt State University. She has practiced in school-based and health service inpatient and outpatient settings. Some of her clinical interests include multicultural identity, relationships, health issues, grief/loss, trauma, and athletics. Her clinical practice incorporates relational, intersectional, ACT, and self-compassion-based approaches. She attends to the therapeutic space collaboratively and strives to honor each student’s unique lived experiences.
