Sean K. Barker
Associate Professor of Computer Science
Sean Barker is Associate Professor of Computer Science at Bowdoin College. His research interests are broadly in the areas of energy, smart buildings, sustainability, and distributed systems. Recent and past projects have included analyzing smart meter data (e.g., for high-performance compression or virtual power meters), resource management in data centers (e.g., leveraging intermittent power), and cloud-based databases (e.g., employing on-demand live migration).
