Specifically, the project focuses on appraoches to improve understanding of the capacity of rural communities to apply for and make use of grants and provide digital municipal services.

The Social Resilience Project. With changing climate conditions, coastal Maine faces more frequent and more severe weather events, bringing flooding, high wind impacts, and damage to road and electric infrastructure to our communities.  The Social Resilience Project creates dialogue and connections between the groups that play a role in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from these events as well as supporting and reducing the impacts on community members experiencing heightened social vulnerability. The project examined the role of scenario planning exercises in facilitating cross-sector collaborations. Website.

Maine: 50 Years of Water Quality Restoration and Protection. A cooperative project with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection that charts water quality improvement over 50 years in Maine. Website

Maine Coastal Risk Explorer. A collaborative project with the Maine Chapter of The Nature Conservancy that examines the social vulnerability that Maine communities face due to climate change impacts. Website

Lincoln County Sea Level Rise Flood Study. A collaborative project with Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission, Maine Coastal Program, and Maine Geological Survey to analyze future flood zones at 1 and 3 foot sea level rise scenarios.

Conservation Blueprint: A Guidebook for protecting place and prosperity in the Sagadahoc Region. A mapping project that examined approaches for prioritizing areas for conservation.
