Sharing Bowdoin's Campus Plan
Dear faculty, staff, and students,
Starting in Fall 2024, members of the Bowdoin community have engaged in the campus planning process. Through open houses, workshops, listening sessions, and other conversations, you helped identify priorities, surface opportunities, and shape a vision for the future of Bowdoin’s facilities and infrastructure. Today, I am writing to share the resulting 2026 campus plan.
The plan is an aspirational vision for the Bowdoin campus. It is designed to be a flexible guide for ambitious and transformative decisions over the next decade. Realizing it will take careful work, real investment, and require transformational philanthropic partnership from alumni, family, and friends of the College.

I am especially grateful to the members of the Campus Plan Steering Committee for their dedication, insight, and many hours of effort throughout the process. I also deeply appreciate the many members of our community who contributed their ideas and perspectives along the way.
