Ethan Barkalow was profiled in the Hakodate Shimbun
Ethan Barkalow ’18 was profiled in the Hakodate Shimbun, a Japanese newspaper in northeastern Japan. Ethan spent the summer before his senior year attending the HIF (Hokkaido International Foundation) Japanese Language and Japanese Culture Program. The newspaper published an essay that he wrote about his appreciation for the natural beauty of Hakodate, the third largest city in Japan’s northernmost island.
