Thirty members of Bowdoin’s oldest all-female a cappella group, Miscellania, gathered on campus over the weekend to celebrate their rich 45 year history. Alumnae and students traveled to campus for the festivities from across the U.S. and Europe, including alumnae flying in from San Francisco and Seattle as well as a student studying abroad from Luxembourg. Along with opportunities for reconnecting and socializing, the group hosted a two-hour open rehearsal for alumnae and current members on Saturday afternoon which culminated in a reunion concert in the chapel. The current group performed a short set followed by four songs performed by all alumnae and students including God’s Gift to Women, Long Time Traveler, On a Night, and Song For Earth’s Children.
