Hannah Miller ’17 is studying in Svalbard, Norway — 800 miles from the North Pole, but near the center of the debate over climate change. Miller, a coordinate major in environmental studies, and earth and oceanographic science, is researching the retreat of glaciers and the resulting increase in sea levels, and was featured in a segment that aired November 30, 2015, onThe CBS Evening News.
