So much of why I am an artist, and why I do what I do is informed by Bowdoin.” Sculptor Ben Butler ’00 installs new work in Mills Hall »

What is this?

The Bowdoin College homepage changes every weekday when students are on campus and the College is in session.

At the top, we feature a Bowdoin moment: two photos that attempt to capture a genuine interaction or scene between members of our campus community—including students, staff, faculty, parents, alumni, and visitors.

(During breaks and holidays homepage moments may change less frequently. Homepage moments over Winter Break are often built using materials from the George J. Mitchell Department of Special Collections & Archives.)

Browse the entire archive below, and select any particular moment pair to load it at the top of this page.
