Access to LLMs via Hosted AI Platforms

These platforms provide secure, institution-managed access to multiple AI models without requiring direct accounts with external providers.

LibreChat

LibreChat is an open-source, self-hosted AI chat interface allowing secure interaction with LLMs while maintaining institutional control over data.

Many of the tools you already use have begun integrating AI features to enhance productivity, creativity, and collaboration.

Adobe Firefly

Adobe Firefly is Adobe's AI-powered creative toolset designed to generate and enhance creative content. It specializes in tasks like text-to-image generation, creative image editing, and text effects. Firefly is integrated into Adobe's suite of applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Express, making it a powerful tool for designers, marketers, and content creators.

Apple Intelligence

Apple Intelligence is a suite of AI-based features integrated into macOS and iOS devices, designed to enhance productivity and user experience. It includes tools like Siri for voice assistance, on-device machine learning for personalized suggestions (e.g., photo curation, text recognition), and system-wide automation capabilities through features like Shortcuts.

• Writing tools - Summarize selected text with a tap, proofread your work, and find the right wording and tone.
• Enhanced Siri – A smarter Siri with new capabilities using AI.
• Image Playground – Create custom, AI-generated images using the Image Playground app.
• Cleanup in Photos – Uses AI to cleanup or remove objects from photos.
• Custom Memories in Photos – Describe what you’d like to create memories of, and Photos will use AI to generate a movie using related images from your Photos library.
• Genmoji – Create custom emojis
• Integration with ChatGPT – When Siri can’t answer a question, it will prompt you to ask ChatGPT.
• Extreme privacy – Your data is never stored, your prompts are for you only, and the security is verifiable by third parties

Bowdoin Bot

The chatbot found across the Support Portal is a generative AI bot. Chatbots can search and retrieve information from any internal or external knowledge base and provide answers through human-like conversation.

Canvas AI

AI features built into the Canvas LMS to assist with course design, content generation, quiz creation, and student feedback. 

Microsoft CoPilot Chat

Conversational AI chat within Microsoft 365, allowing you to query your organization’s data, documents, and emails, and receive AI-generated insights, summaries, and action plans.

TeamDynamix AI

AI-powered enhancements to the IT service management platform, providing automated ticket classification, response suggestions, and knowledge base recommendations.

Workday AI Components

AI features integrated into Workday to assist with HR, payroll, and financial workflows, including predictive analytics, natural language queries, and process automation.

Zoom AI Companion

Zoom AI Companion is an AI-powered assistant integrated into Zoom's collaboration platform, designed to enhance meeting experiences, productivity, and communication. It assists with tasks such as generating meeting summaries, transcribing conversations, and providing real-time insights during meetings.

Access to LLMs via Accounts with Generative AI Providers

These tools require accounts directly with the AI provider and may be available through institutional licensing (e.g., ChatGPT Edu) or via personal/enterprise subscriptions.

Anthropic Claude / Claude Education

Claude is a large language model designed for natural conversation, reasoning, and summarization. Claude Education offers institution-friendly features, privacy protections, and collaborative tools for students and faculty.

OpenAI ChatGPT / ChatGPT Edu

ChatGPT is OpenAI’s conversational AI platform capable of answering questions, generating creative content, summarizing documents, and more. ChatGPT Edu is a version tailored for educational institutions, offering enhanced privacy and administrative controls.

Google Gemini

Google Gemini is an advanced AI system developed by Google, designed to handle a wide range of tasks with a focus on natural language understanding, generation, and multimodal capabilities. Gemini combines the strengths of language models with real-time information processing to assist with everything from drafting content to answering complex queries.

Google Notebook LM

Google Notebook LM (Language Model) is an AI-powered tool by Google designed to assist with research, organization, and knowledge management. It enables users to interact with and organize complex information, making it easier to synthesize data and generate insights for academic, professional, or personal projects.

Microsoft CoPilot

Microsoft CoPilot is an AI-powered assistant designed to enhance productivity by integrating seamlessly into Microsoft Office apps (like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and development tools such as Visual Studio. It leverages natural language processing and AI to help users draft content, analyze data, create presentations, and even write code.
