Beyond Bowdoin

A Bowdoin chemistry degree provides an entry point to a wide variety of professional occupations.  Recent graduates are pursuing graduate studies in chemistry or biochemistry, pharmacy, and medical school, teaching school, and working in research laboratories.  Our former students hold academic appointments, and include physicians, pharmacologists, data analysts, environmental scientists, and vintners. Chemistry faculty, Bowdoin’s Career Exploration and Development Office, the Office of Health Professions Advising and the Center for Cocurricular Opportunities all assist students as they plan their future beyond Bowdoin.
