Local Communities and Landscapes
Anthropology courses encourage students to conduct short ethnographic projects that draw on relationships inside and outside of the Bowdoin community.
Depending on the course, students might focus on the ethical and methodological facets of data collection, develop diverse analytical skills, and gain understanding of the ways that anthropological perspectives enrich our understanding of local landscapes and communities.
