Celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month 2024
By Bowdoin NewsRepresentAsian, Bowdoin’s Asian Alumni Association, celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May in five cities—Boston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, DC.
For the second year, alumni across generations were able to reconnect, meet fellow alumni in their cities, and receive updates on RepresentAsian’s efforts. The small, intimate gatherings allowed space for meaningful conversations, including around how the group can continue to grow and evolve. After an inaugural year, RepresentAsian held its first leadership retreat on campus in March and is planning an exciting year ahead.
