Reunion Weekend 2024: Reception for 1794 Society Donors and Leadership Volunteers

President Safa Zaki and Huff Templeton hosted the event in a tent on the lawn of the Parker Cleaveland House. In her welcoming remarks, President Zaki expressed her appreciation to those gathered for their contributions as a leadership volunteer, 1794 Society member, or both.

Zaki told the crowd that 1794 Society donors make up sixteen percent of all annual fund donors but account for more than eighty percent of annual fund gifts. “Your generosity and hard work impact the quality of everything at Bowdoin: the academic program, athletics, the arts, residential life, the student experience, internships, financial aid—everything we do is stronger, better, because of you,” she said. “Thank you.”
