The New England Society Honors Barry Mills

Barry Mills ’72, the fourteenth president of the College, will be honored at The New England Society in the City of New York’s 216th Annual Dinner Dance November 12, 2021.

Mills is to receive the Reginald Townsend Award, which The New England Society of the City of New York (NES) established in 1952 “to recognize outstanding achievement representing the finest attributes of the New England character.”

NES is one of the oldest social and charitable organizations in the US and was founded in 1805 to promote “friendship, charity, and mutual assistance” among and on behalf of New Englanders living in New York.
