Bowdoin in New York Celebrates AF/AM/50

The Polar Bear Community gathered in early October to celebrate fifty years of Africana Studies, the African American Society, and the John Brown Russwurm African American Center. The event was hosted at the Michael Rosenfeld gallery and hosted by halley k harrisburg '90, Alvin Hall '74, Andrea London '89, and Staci Williams Seeley '90. Guests enjoyed remarks by Bowdoin Associate Professor of Africana Studies, Judith Cassleberry and paintings in the exhibit hall by William T. Williams who joined us in celebration!
