Monetary contributions and gifts of works of art from alumni/ae, parents and friends strengthen the collections of the Bowdoin College Museum of Art and help ensure that our teaching inspires and our programming is lively and varied.

Museum Hours

Tuesday - Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

The Museum will be closed from Monday, December 24, 2012 through Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Reopening at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

Closed on Mondays and national holidays.

The Bowdoin College Museum of Art is open to the public free of charge, although donations are welcome. The Museum is wheelchair accessible through the Pavilion entrance. Bowdoin College Museum of Art is a member of The Maine Art Museum Trail
