Matt O'Donnell

Responsibilities: Matt guides the editorial compilation and production of three issues a year of Bowdoin Magazine—one of the College’s primary means of communicating with its alumni and other key constituents—in addition to collaborating across departments on various digital and social media communications. 

Background and Experience: A Maine native, Matt graduated from Holy Cross and earned an MFA in creative writing at the University of North Carolina–Greensboro. He joined Bowdoin Magazine in 2000. 

He coaches skiing and mountain biking for the Bowdoin College Outing Club as well as spin classes in Bowdoin's health and wellness program. 

Matt is founding editor of From the Fishouse and has produced a poetry reading series on campus since 2005.
