Honor Wilkinson is the Curatorial Assistant and Manager of Student Programs at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art. She earned her A.B. in History of Art and Architecture from Harvard College (2014) and her M.St. in History of Art & Visual Culture from University of Oxford (June 2015). Both her A.B. and M.St. were focused on the art and architecture of the medieval period. Prior to coming to the BCMA she has volunteered at both the Museum of Oxford and Modern Art Oxford. She had multiple curatorial experiences while at Harvard, including working on the Curatorial Board of student exhibitions and as one of the student curators of Medieval Scrolls at Harvard exhibited at Harvard University’s Houghton Library. The curatorial team of the medieval scroll exhibition developed the corresponding online Medieval Scrolls Digital Archive, to which she contributed research as well. In addition to working on the Bowdoin College Museum of Art’s exhibition programming, Honor acts as the liaison between the Bowdoin students and the Museum of Art for research, programming, and internship opportunities, while also facilitating class visits and guided tours of the exhibitions.
